The Apple Watch Series 6 is the most popular smartwatch model in the world, claims a Strategy Analytics report.
It has been told in the report that Apple has also been on top in the global smartwatch market and the company has sold around 9.5 million Apple Watch units in June this year.
This year Apple has also registered a growth of 46 percent compared to last year.
Strategy Analytics has reported in the report that Apple has the largest share in the smartwatch market and Apple accounts for more than half of the total market.
The company has 52.2 percent of the total market share, while second-ranked Samsung has 11 percent and third-ranked Garmin has 8.3 percent smartwatch market share.
The remaining 28.2 percent of the market includes shares of other companies like Xiaomi, Oppo and Fitbit.
Neil Moston, executive director of Strategy Analytics, said, “Our reports suggest that Apple sold 9.5 million units in Q2 2021, a 46 percent increase over 6.5 million units sold in Q2 2020. ”
“Apple’s global smartwatch market share has reached nearly 52 percent, and other companies are not even remotely competing,” he said.
The company’s Apple Watch 6 model has been bought the most.

The company launched Apple Watch Series 6 last year and its upgrade will be launched this year.
Regarding global smartwatch shipments, it has been told in the report that 12 million smartwatch units were purchased in the second quarter this year as against 18 million units sold in the second quarter of 2020.
In this way, the market has registered a decline of 47 percent as compared to last year.
However, now the market is getting better and in view of challenges like Kovid-19, more users are buying smartwatches like last year.
