China’s super speed Maglev train launched, speeds up to 600 km/h.

China on Tuesday unveiled a maglev train that talks to the air. It is being claimed that this train will run at a speed of 600 km/h. This train runs on high temperature superconducting power. Due to which it seems as if it is floating on magnetic tracks. Hence this train is also called ‘Floating Train’.

The train, which runs at a speed of 600 km/h, will take only two and a half hours to travel from Beijing to Shanghai. The distance between the two cities is 1,000 km. It is being told that maglev train can become a good option for people traveling by plane in the country. The distance between Shanghai to Beijing is one thousand kilometers and it takes about 3 hours to go from Shanghai to Beijing by plane, while it will take about five and a half hours to reach China’s high speed train.

According to the report, China has been working on this technology for the last 20 years. China’s largest industrial city Shanghai also has a short line of maglev train, which runs from the airport to the city, but now China plans to run a maglev train to connect the cities.

Initially, this train will be run between Shanghai city and Chenkdu city. According to Chinese state media, the train has been launched from today. The length of this train is about 69 feet. Maglev train has been prepared in China’s coastal city of Qingdao.

While there are no inter-city or inter-province maglev lines yet in China that could make good use of the higher speeds, some cities including Shanghai and Chengdu have started to conduct research.
