Dell tops the list of most loved brands.

    American multinational computer technology company Dell has emerged as India’s ‘most preferred brand’. This information was given in a report.

    Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi’s ‘Mi’ has emerged as the second most popular brand in the TRA Brand Trust Report 2021, the report’s company, TRA Research, said in a statement.


    It added that LG Television is at the third position and its rival Samsung TV is at the fourth position.

    At the same time, Apple’s iPhone has been ranked as the fifth most preferred brand. He was second on the list last year.

    Four-time topping the list, Samsung mobile phones slipped to the eighth spot in the latest report.

    Chandramouli, CEO, TRA Research, said, “Laptop company Dell delivered a remarkable performance to top the 1,000 brands listed in the report as India’s ‘Most Desired Brands’. There are 18 Indian brands, nine American brands, eight South Korean brands and seven Chinese brands in the top-50.

    The top-50 brands have brands from different sectors reflecting the diverse preferences of the consumers. However, mobile phones are the most preferred category with nine entrants, followed by laptops and televisions (four brands each).

    In the list, Oppo grabbed the sixth spot, up an impressive 27 places from the previous year, followed by LG Refrigerators at the seventh spot, up 22 places from the report for 2020.

    Sony Entertainment Television is also included in the top 10 brands. Hindi entertainment channel has been placed at the ninth position. Chinese phone brand Vivo is ranked 10th.

    There is not a single Indian brand in the top 10 brands.

    Indian brands like deodorant brand Fogg (12th), milk products company Amul Milk (13th), ICICI Bank (17th), Amul Butter (20th) are among the top 20 brands in the list.
