    Webtoons : K- Drama You Should Watch in 2022.

    Webtoons have become one of the most popular forms of internet content in South Korea, and they are also popular throughout the world. A vast number of webtoons have been adapted for cinema and television, and with new adaptations coming out every week, the number of adaptations is growing faster than ever. In 2021, there were back-to-back webtoons-based releases that were hugely successful and left viewers wanting more–the award-winning True Beauty being a good example–and now it’s time for 2022. Here are some of the important stories we’re anticipating.

    Dr. Park’s Clinic

    Dr. Park’s Clinic webtoons, authored by Jang Bongsoo, is set to be released on January 14th. Internal Medicine Dr. Park is based on a well-known webcomic. This is ‘Tving’s original series and will be the first show to continue the webtoon -TV cooperation,’ according to Yonhap News Agency. Dr. Park will be played by Lee Sojin, a guy who aspires to be a good, altruistic doctor at first, but when confronted with debt and groaning under the weight of a loan, decides to pursue a darker route to avoid bankruptcy.

    All Of Us Are Dead

    Joo Donggeun wrote this forthcoming television series based on the Naver webtoon Now At Our School. It will star Yoon Chanyoung, Park Jihoo, Cho Yihyun, Park Solomon, and Yoo Insoo and will be released before the end of this month (January 28th). The plot centres on a zombie apocalypse in which kids become trapped within their high school. Either they must battle to survive or get the infection. Happiness, starring Park Hyungsik and Han Hyojoo, was released in November 2021 and followed a similar scenario in which occupants of a new high-rise building in the city get imprisoned due to a zombie outbreak, and it’s now up to high schoolers to fight with the fatal illness.

    After My King’s Affection, SF9’s Rowoon will star in the fantasy K-drama Tomorrow, which will be released in January 2022. Choi Joongwong, an unemployed young man who commits suicide to end his sad existence, is the subject of the programme, which is based on a webtoon of the same name by RaMa. When he is about to leap off a bridge, he witnesses another person doing the same thing and is persuaded not to. Both men, however, end up tumbling off the bridge. Joonwong falls into a coma, and his soul is hired by the underworld’s special crisis management squad to assist people who are at high risk of suicide. Rowoon is joined by Kim Heesun and other leading ladies.

    A Business Proposal

    Based on Hae Hwa’s online novel Sanae Matsun or The Office Blind Date, A Business Proposal will star Kim Sejeong of The Uncanny Encounter fame as office worker Shin Ha Ri alongside Ahn Hyoseop (Doctor Romantic 2.) The plot revolves around Shin Ha Ri, who dresses up as her wealthy friend Jin Youngseo and goes on a blind date with Kang Taemu, her company’s CEO, without realising that he is her boss. Kang Taemu, on the other hand, is a workaholic who is fed up with his grandfather’s practise of putting him up on blind dates. To put a stop to the torture, he chooses to marry the first lady he encounters, who happens to be Shin Ha Ri.
