    Xiaomi 12 will be the first smartphone with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.

    The new flagship chipset Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 has been launched by smartphone chip manufacturer Qualcomm. At the launch event, the company said that Xiaomi will be among the first smartphone makers to bring devices with this chipset. Now it has been officially announced by Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun. Xiaomi 12 series may bring the first smartphone to be launched with the latest chipset.

    Many devices will be included in the new series

    The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset is Qualcomm’s most powerful processor, and apart from performance upgrades, battery optimization will also be seen. It can bring many devices in its new flagship series, in which the new processor will be given in the most powerful models. Qualcomm has said that apart from Xiaomi, Black Shark, Honor, iQOO, Motorola, Nubia, OnePlus, Oppo, Realme, Sharp, Sony, Vivo and ZTE will launch phones with the new processor.

    Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun has told on his official Twitter account that the first smartphone with the new Snapdragon processor will be part of the Xiaomi 12 series. He shared a video and wrote, “Qualcomm has always been one of Xiaomi’s most important partners. Today I am excited to announce that Xiaomi and Qualcomm have worked together for many months and the Xiaomi 12 series is the world’s first ever.” Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 powered smartphones will be included.”

     

    Many upgrades to the new Snapdragon chipset

    Qualcomm launched its new processor at the big event and said that it has undergone many upgrades compared to the previous Snapdragon 888 chipset. Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor will get better processing power, connectivity, AI, camera and security. Apart from this, the new chip will also support 8K HDR recording. The big feature included in the chipset is the Always-On ISP, which will support the Instant Face Unlock across devices.
